Booking a vehicle through Yoma Car Share is easy, quick, and convenient. Whether planning a short day trip or a longer journey, Yoma Car Share offers a streamlined process that gets you on the road without any hassle. Here’s your step-by-step guide for making a reservation, managing your booking, and getting ready to drive.

Step 1: Download the Yoma Car Share App 📲

While you can make a reservation on the Yoma Car Share website, we recommend using the mobile app for a smoother experience. It’s available on:

Step 2: Register or Log In 📝

You can easily log in and make a reservation if you already have an account.

Log in to your account once you have the app or visit the website.

If you don’t have an individual or corporate account, you can easily sign up by providing basic information and identification. Our team will review your details, and you’ll be ready to book soon. Here’s a step-by-step guide for the registration process:

1. Click on “Create an Account.”

2. Select “Individual” if registering for an individual account.

3. Enter your full name, email address, and password, then confirm your password. After entering all the information, click “Submit” to complete the registration process.

4. The system will send you an email with a one-time password (OTP). Please enter the OTP code to log in.

Step 3: Make a Reservation 🚘

You can book your car once your account is set up and approved. Just follow these steps:

1. Enter Trip Details: In the “Find A Car” section, add your Pick-Up Location, Return Location (optional), Pick-Up Date/Time, and Return Date/Time.

2. Choose a Car: A list of available vehicles matching your needs will appear. Select the one that best suits your trip.

3. Payment and Discounts: After choosing your car, select your payment method (Credit Card, Debit Card, WavePay, MPU, or KBZPay). If you have any discounts, apply them before confirming your booking.

4. Reserve: Double-check your details (dates, locations, etc.), then tap the “Reserve” button.

5. Check the reservation: Your reservation will appear in the “Upcoming Reservations” section of the app.

Reservation Tips:

  • You can update your reservation up to 45 minutes before the pick-up time.
  • The minimum rental period is 1 hour, and the maximum is 30 days. For longer trips, you must make a new booking after 30 days.
  • A cancellation fee of MMK 10,000 applies. You can avoid this by updating your booking instead of canceling it.
  • Book as early as 180 days or as close as 15 minutes before your Pick-Up Time.

Step 4: End Your Reservation 🛑

Ending your reservation is easy, too. Just make sure to return the car to the same rental hub or another nearby hub (additional charges (OWR) apply if you return to a different hub).

1. Once you’re at the hub, tap “End Trip” in the app.

2. Confirm that all tasks are completed and report any issues or damage.

3. You can view completed bookings in your Yoma Car Share account.

Tips for Ending Your Trip:

  • Check for any outstanding payments in the “Payment” section.
  • Return the car on time to avoid late fees.
  • Always return the car to the correct rental hub.
