Empowering Myanmar’s Digital Ecosystem Using AWS Cloud Services

At Yoma Fleet, we strive to enhance Myanmar’s IT community through cloud technologies, and skilled development. We actively participated in and organized events such as AWS Community Day Myanmar and AWS User Group Meetups to show our commitment to building a strong digital environment. We organized those events to provide hands-on support and expert advice for businesses and the community. We support the growth, innovation, and cooperation within Myanmar’s digital environment by concentrating on the community’s efforts.

AWS Community Day Myanmar 2023: Uniting Myanmar’s IT Community

In November 2023, Yoma Fleet organized the AWS Community Day Myanmar at the Novotel Hotel in Yangon. By bringing more than 400 people, Yoma Fleet had reached one of the milestones for AWS users and IT professionals to meet for the fabulous event. Expertise has shared the knowledge within the network and engaged in hands-on learning activities at the event.

Our Role in the Event: Some members of the Yoma Fleet team organized and scheduled the sessions so that the speakers and facilitators could participate and enjoy themselves together by sharing valuable knowledge and experiences and cheerfully discussing technical topics. It can be said that this event became a memorable event as participants got insights, activities, as well as experiences.

• Educational Talks and Lightning Sessions: Some members of the Yoma Fleet team led discussions on AWS topics, including microservices development and other interesting technologies, ensuring a rich learning experience for all participants.
• AWS GameDay: We contributed to organizing this immersive problem-solving event, during which participants tackled AWS challenges in real time. This interactive learning experience promoted skill-building and collaborative problem-solving.

The positive feedback from attendees was a testament to the event’s success, and we are proud to have supported an event that encourages Myanmar’s IT professionals to advance their AWS knowledge.

AWS User Group Myanmar Meetup in Bangkok 2024: Strengthening Connections Abroad

Yoma Fleet organized the AWS User Group Myanmar Meetup held in Bangkok on June 2024 with the Myanmar IT Professionals. Hosted at the AWS Office, this event aimed to foster community building and knowledge-sharing among Myanmar’s tech talent living abroad.

Our Contribution: One of the Yoma Fleet team members presented on microservices development, showcasing practical applications of cloud tools to build scalable, high-performance systems. The presentation highlighted the critical role of AWS in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications for Myanmar IT professionals working internationally.

With 150 attendees from diverse IT backgrounds, the event underscored the importance of maintaining cross-border connections and promoting knowledge exchange. Yoma Fleet was proud to unite Myanmar’s IT community in Bangkok, creating a supportive and collaborative network.
